"So, I take it that this Fey 'character' will be your next big one then huh? You
fancying a bit of an exploration into the dark side eh? I can't say I blame you after what you just
been through. You nearly got yourself killed out there. And, it probably isn't over yet. You're going to need to lie low for a while.
Take a break from your usual routine.
This Fey thing could be the ideal opportunity for you to duck out for a
while. I agree, I agree, it is all a bit
farfetched and well it could be a laugh.
But on the serious side, Twitter and Facebook and all of the social
media is buzzing with the Vampire Fey thing right now. No-one knows who she is,
where she is, or even IF she exists. We could do with a bit of a look on the
lighter side of life. Ok yeah, if the
stories are to be believed it is the dark side of life. But these things always come over worse than
they actually are. Go into it as a bit
of a piss-take. Use The Globe to draw
her out. Or if 'she' doesn't exist, to draw out who's behind her. Or who's
behind the myth of Fey the Vampire. Come on you know you want to. You know you
want to really."
The conversation had begun at the
table and then continued as she and Stefani moved to the private lounge area of
the restaurant. It was no accident that Stefani's boss walked behind her. As
she spoke she watched the swirl of Stefani's cocktail dress just above her
knees, and the movement of her ass cheeks inside the silky material. Although she was talking seriously, there was
a curled smile across attractive, smoothly glossed lips.
"Did I ever tell you, you do look
pretty good in that dress you know? Those legs, god those legs!"
Stefani grinned over her shoulder at
her boss. Her mane of flame red hair cascaded over her shoulder and wisped
across the flesh through the deep V of the dress.
"Ha yes, well you might have mentioned
that one or two times. But then you say
I look good in all the dresses I wear.
In any case, I do hope you're not hitting on me boss? I mean, the boss taking advantage of a poor
vulnerable employee, trying to make it in the world and all that."
Stefani feigned a vulnerable little
girl lost tone to her voice, even if it was a futile thing to do. Her voice had
an inherent and innately sexy raspy quality to it - as though she might have
chain-smoked from the womb even though she had never smoked in her life. Even
so, that seemed to add to the eroticism that seemed to ooze from the redhead. A
mature woman, coming across as all vulnerable and - there for the taking.
Rosalind tossed her own, dark brown hair back and laughed softly.
"Me?... as if."
The two picked a quiet corner that was
mostly bathed in shadows and they each sank into the huge, deep, leather
sofa. Stefani wore spiked heels that
were as impossible surely as her legs were long. The heels forced her knees
high and Rosalind again watched with a wry smile as the sparkly, clingy dress
fell away revealing a little more thigh that possibly Stefani intended.
"Seriously, Ros you wouldn't do that
to me would you - put me on Fey's case?
I mean for fuck's sakes boss. Is this what I've been reduced to? I dunno, what next? You'll be dressing me up
like one of those little girl's in SuckerPunch. You know, over the knee socks,
little micro mini and leather halter - oh yes, and a sword of course. I
couldn't go hunting vampires without a sword. And some stakes, for the heart
now could I?"
The older woman let Stefani have her
little outburst. Even nodded encouragingly as she did. Then she leaned across
and draped her wrist across Stefani's topmost thigh, just above the knee.
"Well, now there are some interesting
thoughts there and I will think about it.
Seriously though sweetie, and there is a serious side. I do want you to
look into Fey. If you come out the other end with nothing. If she doesn't
exist, if it's just some crazed lunatic - fair enough. But I just have a
feeling that there is more to it.
Someone somewhere has gone to a lot of trouble to create this
'illusion'. To create this 'myth'. There are even some stories that say this
girl actually exists and is barely out of high school and that what she does to
her victims doesn't really bare thinking about."
Rosalind left her speech hanging, as
though there was more but that she didn't want to go into any more detail - at
least she didn't want to go into any more detail at this time. Instead she leaned off Stefani's leg and
reached into her bag and took out a few folded pieces of A4 size paper with
printing on them.
"Look take a look at these. I was
looking through some on-line forums whilst I was trying to decide whether you
should pursue this or not. There's some pretty disturbing ready there
babe. Take a look whilst I go powder my
nose."
