Roxanne Kennedy was finally beginning to adjust to her new life at college and being on her own for the first time since having left home. Her parents had not been overprotective and controlling in any way, really, but all the same had watched over Roxy with a bit of a closer eye than she had liked. Her arrival on campus had felt freeing after they dropped her off, but soon she realized all that freedom had other baggage attached to it. No one was now around to tell her when it was time to eat or make sure she did her school work or take care of her laundry. As well, none of her friends from back home had chosen the university that she had so she was feeling a bit like a piece of driftwood, bobbling in the ocean, at times.

Her academic pursuits had been a challenge as well, as the workload far out weighed what she had been use to in high school. As well, unlike her teachers back there, none of her professors were walking in each day to remind anyone about paper or project deadlines. It had taken just one instance of missing one of those, however, to get Roxy to adjust. She was on a scholarship and she sure did not want to let her GPA fall to a point where it might invalidate her free ride. She soon had that part of her life on track, but her personal life seemed to lag behind and Roxy often felt lonely and isolated.

She had never been great at making new friends back home and that situation had only gotten more noticeable there at college. She was not unattractive, but Roxy felt vastly overshadowed and intimidated by what seemed to be a plethora of stunning and beautiful girls around her. She was just average, Roxy thought. And just average enough to not stand out to anyone...especially any of the boys. Back home she had had one boyfriend, but it had been brief and had never developed into a sexual relationship. Sure, they had made out hotly which Roxy had loved. But not much beyond that and letting him feel her up and her stroking his hard penis from outside his clothing.
