Behind The Scenes Of An Adult Film





It was mid-afternoon in springtime. The sun was still quite high in the sky without being too hot. A small rectangular pool gleamed in the sunlight. Surrounding it on the paved area were some deckchairs.

A bank of portable lighting was set up in a shaded area near one of the deckchairs. Power leads trailed across the concrete deck. A woman with a boom mike wandered around, back and forth, checking angles and positioning at various locations around the pool. There was a photographer kneeling in the shade of a tree checking his equipment. A video camera was attached to a tripod beside the bank of lights. Several other men and woman milled around; some holding handheld video cameras, others giving instructions. 

A man wearing a black T-shirt with Director written on the back was busy studying a script. Standing with him, also looking over their respective scripts, were a male actor and a female actor. The male, Adam, wore nothing but a pair of blue Speedos. The female, Candy, was clad only in a white g-string.

They'd just completed the opening scene where they flirted with each other right before deciding to dive into the pool.

The director snapped his fingers. "Let's get ready for the pool scene," he called out.

The mobile camera operators moved into predetermined positions, as did the lady with the boom mike. Candy dived into the pool first with Adam right behind her. They swam around for a bit, splashing and flirting with each other in the water.

"Cut," the director called. "Adam. Candy. Move up here to the shallow end for the kissing scene. Little bit further. Yep, that's good there." One cameraman got in close while the other filmed from a distance as the actors embraced and commenced a long, wet, open-mouthed kiss. The cameraman nearest them made sure he got a good close-up of their tongues entwining. The photographer with the still camera moved in and quickly snapped off several frames while his female assistant directed extra light onto the couple with a silver reflector.

"Start fondling those big breasts, Adam," said the director. Adam did as instructed, taking a succulent breast in each hand without breaking their kiss. "Phil? Are you getting a good shot of this?" the director asked one of the cameramen? To the close-up guy he said, "Tom, make sure you get a good close-up of that titillation, too."
