Honeymoon (Jessica's Seduction #6)

(Darren G. Burton)

Chapter 1

Jessica was loving life in The Maldives. She had always wanted to come here and it was the perfect place to spend a honeymoon with her new husband.
She scooped some flesh out of a crab claw and smiled across the little table at Preston. He looked so handsome with his suntan and white shirt unbuttoned halfway down his chest. They may have been staying at a five star resort on one of the many atolls that made up the islands of the tiny country, but the outdoor dining atmosphere was very casual.
"What?" he said when she continued to stare at him, the smile never slipping from her face.
"Nothing. Just admiring my gorgeous man." She gazed up at the darkening sky, then across at the spectacular sunset right before her, with its dazzling shades of red and purple. "I'm having a good time. Life is perfect right now."
Preston grinned and held up his wine glass. "I'll drink to that, Wifey."
She raised her glass and giggled. "Don't call me that, or I'll have to start calling you Hubby. Neither really appeal to me."
"Okay, Babe," he said and they clinked glasses.
"That's better. I've always liked 'babe'. I know it's not very original, but I like it."
"So do I, Babe." He smiled. "I love you."
She returned his smile. "And I love you."
Preston chewed on some calamari rings while Jessica persisted in scooping out crab from the shell. When she'd had enough she rinsed her hands in a bowl of lemon water and dried them on a small towel. The sunset had all but gone now, the sky a deep blue as twilight transpired into night, bringing an end to the third day of their honeymoon.
"I still can't believe we're wealthy now," Jessica said, her attention flickering between the view over the ocean and her husband's face.
"That trip to Hawaii certainly served up some surprises," Preston said. "Good and bad."
"Shall we keep doing the freelance photography work?"
"I don't see why not. You know I love it. We get to travel to exotic locations, and the money is good."
"And the adventure," added Jessica. "I want to keep doing it, too. I love travelling the world with you, experiencing new cultures." She shrugged. "And learning more about photography."
Preston rose from his seat, leaned across the table and kissed her lips. His were wet with wine and tasted sweet. Jessica cupped a hand behind his head and lightly flicked her tongue inside his mouth, teasingly so.
"For now we're purely on holiday," he said when he'd sat down again. "No work. Just play."
Jessica grinned lewdly and shot him a seductive look. "Speaking of which. You're neglecting me a bit. You haven't given me any pleasure since first thing this morning."
"What are you talking about, woman?" he replied with mock indignation. "The entire day here has been pure pleasure."
Jessica still grinned. "You know what I'm talking about."
"Actually, no. I don't. I have no idea," he teased. "You might have to demonstrate what you're on about when we get back to our villa."
She nodded. "Okay. I'll do that."
Preston took the wine bottle from its ice bucket beside the table and topped up their glasses. By now Jessica had had her fill of seafood and was contemplating something for dessert. She was actually quite full, but had a craving for something sweet. When she'd attracted the attention of the local waiter, she ordered a mango sorbet, just wanting something small and light. Preston declined any dessert himself.
"I'll just have a taste of yours," he said.
"A taste of my what?" Jessica replied rather cheekily.
"Your dessert."
"Dessert can come in many forms. I like dessert and I like to come."
He laughed. "You really do have a one track mind right now. After you have your sorbet, we'll take a walk along the beach to let the food settle, then I'd better take you back to our suite and give you what you really crave."
"Okay," she said excitedly. "You've talked me into it."
He shook his head with a smile. "Somehow I don't think I really had to try and sell you on the idea."
Jessica shrugged. "It's our honeymoon. That's what people do on honeymoons. Have sex."
"If that's the case, then we've been on one constant honeymoon since we met."
"Are you complaining?" She looked at him sideways and raised an eyebrow.
