(Kelly Addams)

Will I ever find someone who understands me and can give me what I so desperately crave? It was a question that she often asked herself in the middle of the night. It wasn't just the pain, although that was vital, it was the uncertainty of the situation. What was he going to do next, what did he intend to do with that needle, and how hard was he going to do it? Those were the reasons she couldn't hurt herself and feel aroused, it just wasn't the same when it was self inflicted.
Zoë doubted that she would ever find anyone that could tease and torture to the extremes that she needed, and then she came across a man who called himself The Colonel in one of the BDSM chat rooms that she used to frequent. She noted that he joined conversations but never dominated, only offered advice to those who were in doubt. The man was knowledgeable without bragging. She saw him as middle aged, possibly retired military, clearly he was a Dominant, yet she sensed a depth to his character as they began to chat, casually at first, simply passing the time of day, their conversations gradually growing more personal and intense.
My limits? Zoë had thought hard when he asked where she drew the line.
"Too be honest I don't really know yet." she'd replied after a few seconds of thought, she really couldn't say what was just too much.
"Interesting," he'd replied, "I note that you say yet, I take it that you are prepared to explore?"
"Very prepared," she'd replied, "But to date I've never found anyone who could take me where I need to be. I've never met anyone who could even take me close."
"Ah ha," he had replied, "I take it that you wish to explore places that others may consider a little too extreme?"
Zoë grinned as she typed. "I want to explore places that they would consider far too extreme."
"Pain, or simply degradation?" he had asked almost immediately.
"Both." her reply equally prompt.
And that small conversation had opened a world of possibilities for Zoë as scenarios were presented for acceptance or rejection. Very few were rejected, most were found to be very arousing and acceptable... and just a few were placed on her must do list... acts of sadism that she doubted, now lodged in her mind, would ever leave her dreams until satisfied.
It wasn't long before The Colonel began to tell her more about himself. As she'd presumed he was ex-military, but he was coy when asked which branch of the Forces.
"Let's just say that I was head of a unit that received little glory, but was invaluable to the safety of our country." Was all that he would reveal.
Zoë guessed that it must have been something covert and didn't push, besides, she didn't really have any strong yearning to know the absolute facts.
