"Yeah, hopefully. I haven't told him yet. Heading that way now," Bradley said.



Bella's heart swooned with hope as she watched Bradley approach the bar. She wanted to step closer to hear if her crush would join them, but Jacob put his hand on her shoulder.



"Can you take these drinks to Ash's station? She had a shoe mishap and needed to run home for a different pair." Jacob's brow lifted as he held the tray of drinks.



"Sure," Bella said as she took the tray from Jacob. The servers at Kortney's were supportive and helpful with each other so she didn't mind helping Ashley.



Worked hopped again, being a Saturday night. Bella did her usual flirting with Mason as he created cocktails and drinks. He kept a smile stretched across his face and even whistled while he worked. Bella wanted to ask him if he were meeting them at Topsy Club later, but she didn't have a chance. She only hoped he'd be there.



After work, Bella threw her apron in the bin and met with Ashley in the restroom. They fixed their hair and changed into jeans and tee shirts because they weren't allowed to wear their work uniforms out in public. "Better take a cab to Topsy's because you will want to drink," Ashley said. "Want to share a ride?"



Ashley lived not too far from Bella. "Sure. Let's drive to my place and leave my car and grab the cab from there," Bella suggested. By the time they reached Topsy's the place was hopping. Couples scattered over the dance floor swaying to the upbeat music. The gang had a couple of tables pulled together next to the outer edge of the dance floor. Bradley waved to Bella and Ashely.



The smiled formed on Bella's face when she spied Mason. The chair next to him was empty and Ashley was about to launch in that direction. Bella lurched forward acting as if she tripped. "Oh sorry, Ash," she said as she stumbled in front of her and took the seat beside Mason. He beamed at Bella, his brow lifting.



"Good to see you here," Mason said.
