Prologue

"What is your name?"
The words seemed to filter into Jenny's mind, more like a thought of her own than his question.
"Jennifer." she sighed, her thoughts distracted. Why was she suddenly so tired?
"My name is Jenny Bowden."
"Do you know who I am, Jenny?"
The young woman shook her head, it was simpler than speaking and she knew he would understand, even though she couldn't actually see him.
"Not many know my name," he whispered, "But I was here before the existence of humankind, and I will still be here when you are all nothing but dust and faded memory."
"What do you want with me?" Jenny felt little fear or concern despite being unable to move, her arms and legs had become leaden, so had her head, yet a strange contentment had surrounded her like a warm quilt on a cold night. Beneath her thick rafts of spongy moss formed a mattress that moulded itself to her contours, she was trapped, yet completely comfortable.
"What do I want with you?" he chuckled softly and Jenny closed her eyes as she felt the buttons of her blouse surrender to his touch.
"Pleasure Jenny, that's what I want from you... I want pleasure, and a release for my frustration!"
