"Funny?" Rita said, looking at the other ladies, and then pushing Jeffrey towards the back of the pub, to a staging area for private strip shows, usually used for bachelorette parties and such, sometimes the occasional band. It was empty now though, the dimly lit stage bare. They pushed Jeffrey down on the edge of the small step-up, and they looked at him, closely, Rita repeating her question. He obviously had no answer for them, and so they decided that they would answer it for him.  

"You think this is funny," Nina said, and she was the one looking at her new friends. "We're about to see just how funny 'funny' is," she concluded, and stepped up on the stage. Rita followed her, and Jeffrey was suddenly confused. He was looking at Heather for direction. She smiled down at him, and then stepped up on the stage now to join the others. Then all three of them lifted Jeffrey onto the stage, and they now threw their eyes around the space, seeing that they were attracting attention, particularly from the female patrons. They were curious, and they were keen on seeing what was about to happen. 

The men in the pub must have thought that it was an elaborate bachelorette party show, so they ignored it for the most part. They tried to make sense of what was going on on the stage, but they still just kept their distance. The women though were seriously interested now, and more of them started to surround the stage. The trio were as yet unsure about how they would proceed, but they knew that they had set in motion a chain of events that they really could not turn back from. They were about to have some serious fun with this man who decided that it would be a good idea to 'three time' them. Little did they know that they were playing into his hands!
