Brittany set the folders on her desk, her task was to add the old records to the computer database. Each of the accounting firm clients had both physical and digital records. As an intern, she was tasked with simple duties to fulfill. It was easy but tedious work and she was grateful to have landed the internship at the firm. Her second year of schooling was coming up in the fall and she needed the funds to pay for tuition and books and what better way than to intern with a company in her field of study, accounting.

Jesse walked in and bid Brittany a good morning. She regarded the tall burly man with a nod and a smile. He sauntered up to her desk wanting more than just a friendly hello. "Eric and I are having lunch at Tres Lou's today, would you like to accompany us?" he asked.

Eric with his coal black hair neatly trimmed and his impeccable taste with fashion made Brittany nervous. She felt a little out of the man's league, as he came from a wealthy family and yet he went the route of working his way up the career ladder, insisting on working with the interns in the lower office. Eric's mother was married to the owner Bruce, and he had a job by default. He'd said on several occasions that the big man offered him a position in the vice president's office, as an administrative assistant intending to move into the VP's chair, eventually. But Eric wanted to work his way up like everyone else, proving his ability to run the place for his stepfather someday.

"Sure, why not," Brittany answered with a smile at the man. She pulled open a folder and set the screen to the account she needed.

Jesse patted the surface of the desk. "We'll come by at noon then," he said and disappeared. Brittany was a looker, with her auburn hair flowing down her back, plus she was tall for young lady, tall and slender. She could have passed for a model easily with her curves, but she had a love for numbers and schooled in accounting instead.
