'What is your name?' Jamie, the Viscount of Richmond asked curiously in his baritone raised voice, addressing the raven haired young woman who remained painfully silent before him, as she looked back at him with a blank expression on her face.

'It's Miranda.....my name is Miranda,' she finally said, her voice sounding weak and soft to his ears. She was an intriguing figure to behold with her olive coloured skin and striking, dark brown eyes that sat within her heart shaped face, eyes that appeared wiser and older than the rest of her youthful appearance as she stood looking up at him next to her tall black horse.

'Did you know that you are trespassing on private property?' He resisted making his voice sound too severe; he found that the annoyance he had felt when he first spotted Miranda and her horse drawn caravan from afar had now disappeared.

'I am sorry Sir, I did not mean to disturb you and trespass on your grounds, I should have been more careful, but I was in a rush to find a safe ground and I lost track of where I was going, you see it's my mother she is...'
