Chapter 1

'Where do you think you are going?'

'Please, Anthony, get out of my way. I need to speak with Peter,' Celine said hurriedly, trying to push past Anthony, who barred her from entering into the adjoining room.

'Can't it wait, whatever you need to say to him?' Anthony enquired calmly.

'No, I need to speak to him now! I need to tell him what I have to say before it is too late!' Celine said, now more desperate.

'What do you want to tell him, exactly?'

Celine looked up at Anthony with anger. She knew time was running out for her, but the 6ft 2in man before her was proving to be a giant obstacle. She could not physically push him aside at her petite frame and height of just 5ft 4in, and neither could he be easily reasoned with.

'I am sorry, but I cannot tell you, Anthony, what I want to speak to Peter about. It's between him and myself, but it is an important matter . . . .it's for the good of his future.'

'Really? So what you have to say is so important, more important than the fact that he is due to get married in the next twenty minutes?' Anthony said sarcastically.
