Pursuit
Chapter 1
'Lucy, what are you
doing here?'
'Hello lover, I
thought I would surprise you. Aren't you going to invite me in?'
I knew of many men
who would have been more than happy to see a smoking hot blonde in a dress that
left little to the imagination leaning against their doorway.
But I was not most
men, and Lucy was the last person I wanted to see. We had been fucking for the
past couple of weeks after I had spotted her at an exclusive London club. I
could not deny she was a very sexy lady, and we had had a lot of mutual fun
together in a short space of time, but as far as I was concerned, the party was
over, and along with it, our short love affair!
'You should have
called before you came over. I was in the middle of something.' I tried to speak
calmly and hide my irritation as I reluctantly moved to the side to let her
into my flat.
'Really, what were
you doing? I tried to call, but you wouldn't pick up your phone,' she pouted
her red lips at me.
I remained silent as
I sat down on my sofa and switched off my TV. I knew Lucy felt awkward not
knowing what to do with herself when I did not offer her a seat. I regretted
breaking my rule of never bringing a girl to my London flat so soon in the
dating process instead of shagging my dates at their own apartments where I
could easily leave without a trace.
'Oh come on, Aiden. Don't
be angry with me, I wanted to see you. Is that so wrong?' She walked cautiously
over in my direction before taking a seat next to me on the sofa. I felt her well-manicured
hand running down my chest before she leaned in, boldly placing her lips on my
own.
Frustratingly, I
could not help but find myself responding to her. She did have some knowledge of
how to press my buttons-I would give her that!
I groaned as I felt her start to stroke my
growing manhood through my trousers. Now taking the lead, I pushed her soft,
toned body onto the sofa underneath my own. Hastily, I reached under her dress
to find her bare flesh, all the while deepening the kiss between us as our
mouths interlocked.
'Oh Aiden, I missed
you, and now I can see that you missed me too,' Lucy spoke breathlessly against
my mouth, her words destroying the magic of the moment as I felt all the desire
that had stirred inside me begin to fade.
'Dammit Lucy, why did
you have to go and say that?' I moved off from her as I sat up on the sofa.
'What's wrong, Aiden?
What did I say that was so wrong?'
'You know what you
said! I told you from the start that I didn't want anything serious, that I was
not looking for a relationship. I thought you understood that too.'
'I did . . . I do?' I
could hear her almost pleading.
'Then why all the
phone calls and text messages, not to mention turning up at my door unannounced?'
'But I thought we
were having fun, that you enjoyed my company. Why are you acting so cold now?'
