Good start, different from his usual but filled with all we enjoy from

Starts out slow giving a boring in-depth view of our protagonist. This
is rare for DKFN but a nice change to some extent. Unfortunately it is
too long before it gets to the good part. The writing is much
improved over many of her previous works and I’m hoping book 2 will
continue to improve on the story. To be continued. 4 out of 5
