STORY DESCRIPTION

Claudia Guttman receives the news that everyone fears. She is suffering from a terminal illness and has not long to live. She decides on an extreme course of action which means she has to enlist the help of her friends, David and Andrea Williams. To secure his help she will make him an offer he can't refuse. But in reality the offer is one that he might have difficulty accepting.

Part of that difficulty is that he has been compelled to accompany Serena Andrezzi back to Sicily where the remnants of the Andrezzi gang threatens an important hostage. But when they arrive at the rendezvous it is Serena who is carrying the gun. With his hands cuffed and Serena training the automatic weapon at his back he has to fight for his life against armed and dangerous mafiosi and an armed slave who has good cause to hate him.
