This 6 parts story reads a bit like a perverse manga. There are echoes
of "The Famous 5" (for those mature enough to remember), Twilight,
Harry Potter, Chucky....The fantasy set up gives room for
extraordinary transformations which do not require any explanation,
which is fine in this context.
The other side of the coin is that the characters and the plot seem
more distant and the hair raising observation "It could happen to me!"
is not relevant in this series.
Took me some time to get into it but once on board, I really enjoyed
the ride. 4 out of 5 (Dressage10)
A dull ending for this series, very predictable. It should have been
completed in the previous book and saved us time and money. 2 out of
