What a disappointment, especially from a respected author. The story
has a great premise but falls flat in delivery. Scenes are, a best,
listlessly described and often completely bland. While the women
supposedly change, none of this is detailed; in fact often glossed
over in a sentence or two. Sadly lackluster! 2 out of 5 (Eljay)

Each, in their own way, find it extremely difficult to come to terms with the nudity, the obedience, the total submission, not to mention the pain and sexual use. But by the end of the year they are three very different people!
If you enjoyed Ian Smith's book "A Guest At The House of Slaves" you will love this one. It's the other side of that story, told from the slaves' point of view.
