 | STORY DESCRIPTION Lynne grew up a city girl but it never felt comfortable to her and she spent most of her adolescence outside her hometown of Seattle in he backcountry skiing, hiking, and climbing. After 2 years in college Lynne had had enough and was returning home when she found she had inherited a huge estate from a man in her past that she had showed kindness to. The money fixed her situation of what to do with her life as she moved to the small town of Wetherby in Oregon and bought a small cabin on the outskirts where she lived in a place that was more in line with her values and interests. Lynne's one overriding issue that she never figured out, though, was her inability to have an orgasm or even enjoy sex despite her stunning looks. She finally just chalked it up to being frigid and the subject was dropped as the rest of her life was rich and full.
After a long trip abroad, Lynne came happily back to just enjoy a tranquil, peaceful life. But a simple day trip into the mountains following a big snowfall finds Lynne the victim of a freak avalanche and it is only through the kindness of a stranger that she is rescued and nursed back to health. But in the course of this experience, Lynne's sexuality is suddenly awakened and her life seems forever changed. But was her rescuer real or just her imagination?
| Author information: David grew up all over, being the child of a military family. He has spent time in Germany and Austria, Italy, and Spain as well as the United States. He found a calling for the creative arts early in life, and pursued some initial interests in sculpture and painting before finding his true calling as a writer. David has a definite "adult-theme" in his writing as he branches out in his interests in human relationships and sexuality. He was exposed to a much more open and liberal lifestyle during his early life in Europe and this is reflected in his writing now.
David lives part-time here in the US in Taos, NM, and part-time in Spain with his wife, Francesca, with their 2 cats, Aristotle and Plato, near the Sant SebastiĆ Beach just outside Barcelona. Though not particularly obvious in his writing, David credits his wife and her cats--her "Zen-masters" as she refers to them--as a primary source of his inspiration and creativity. In addition to his creative writing, David still spends time immersed in his initial artistic interests as he anticipates a public showing of some of his sculpture and painting in local galleries in Barcelona and Santa Fe in late 2020.
