I am a fan of Simon but having enjoyed his previous books, this one is
let down by the absence of any proof reading. This may appear to be a
minor consideration, but sadly silly mistakes detract from the
enjoyment of his tale. 4 out of 5 (Drayman)
Mildly interesting, but mostly endless descriptions of training
devices with some story in between. The story was very predictable and
the ending more so. Can neither recommend or condemn it. 3 out of 5
