This story starts SO GOOD. Chapter 1 is perfect introduction to the
story. It shows so much potential and promise of terrible things that
are going to happen to the poor daughter just to cause mental turmoil
to her mother. Since I read perfect DEVASTATION from this author, I
expected similar quality (in terms of story-flow and BDSM) from this
story.
The problem is, that after chapter 1, the story is bad. Really bad and
boring. The mother wakes up, slowly learns that the daughter is
gone…the reader is tensed…is there gonna be a phone call? Or video
on CD in mail? Anything to let the mother know that she should remain
silent? It must be, or she will call police, right? No. The mother in
this story is mentally retarded. She does nothing. She pretends that
nothing is happening for WEEK. Her only daughter that she has great
relationship with, that would never leave home without telling her is
GONE for WEEK without trace and she does NOTHING.
By second half of the book, things start very slowly moving on –
speaking of slowly, every sentence of the story is repeated two to
five times. Made up example: “She was standing by window, her
window, window of her house, window that she used to look out, window
made of wood, hard wood, wood that did grow in forest.” I’m not
kidding.
It would make sense if the mother was acting stupid once the photos of
her daughter started arriving (due to the stress) but she is
consistently stupid during the whole story.
The last two chapters are very good. The problem is that it feels like
the story was written to 3 chapters (the epic 1st and then the last
two). But then, author realized that 3 chapter story is not much worth
so 17 more super boring filler chapters without any “action” were
added.
If you are looking to sate your BDSM fetish needs and expect something
similar to DEVASTATION, keep looking. This story contains 3 BDSM
scenes and two of them are performed on character other than the
daughter. If you expect from the description of the story that you
will actually see how the daughter is being broken in, there is
nothing like that in this story. The reader is told that she
“suffered”, but nothing of substance is provided. Then there is
one singular BDSM scene with the daughter at the very end of the story
and that’s it.
The story has some much promise with chapter one, that is completely
unfulfilled. Tags “latex”, “orgasm-denial”, “stockings”
attached to this story are false. Chapters worth reading are Chapter
1, 19, 20.
