About Douglas A. Bechtold:

Born in Parma, Ohio and raised from the age of eight in Houston, Texas. A graduate of the prestigious Klein High School of the Klein Independent School District in 1992, he attended college at the North Harris Community College in Tomball (Now Lone Star College)from 1992-1995 under Dr. John Mayer and a brief stint at the University of Houston, majoring in Theater Arts from 1995-1996 under Dr. Sidney Berger. As performance company member of the renowned Texas Renaissance Festival from 1996 -1998 under Entertainment Directors David Casey and Jeffrey Baldwin, he performed and wrote several of the festival shows and skits. Having worked many years in the fields of Customer Service, Restaurant and Bar, Construction, Transportation and Public Service, Douglas has a tremendous experience in dealing with the realities of life and the emotions of people that he implements into his characterization and story construction. Screenwriting is his one true passion in life, and he hopes to make it a full-time career in the near future.
